FUN STUFF (that moves)
Things I make for fun, usually when I’m trying or learning something new. A lot of my creative ideas come out here, which I then might apply to work later!
A photo montage/collage of 35mm film photos I took in Hyderabad, India, my home town!
A video I made of social bike rides in NYC using a Super8 Camera.
A photo montage of Istanbul, made when Photoshop’s generative fill first released.
From the very early days of AI video, I used a technique called Warp Diffusion to make a mask around the dancer and generate an animated version of them for each frame.
Obligatory cats! (of Istanbul.)
I imagined my DnD group as anime characters. Made with Veo3 when it first came out.
I made this as a fun exercise in learning how to make 3D objects while drawing them in 2D in Blender.
Another Warp Diffusion dance video.
I made a series of these cut out landscapes in After Effects using many different photos, videos and sounds to composite this.
Another example of the cutout landscapes. I wanted the sound and animation to do a little more of the work here.
An explainer I made about the effects of melting glaciers in the Himalayas.
How it all started. I learned After Effects, and thus motion graphics so I could make history explainers. I promise you will learn something new!
A music video I made for saxophonist Frank Vitolo.
An explainer about how forensic entomologists can determine the time of death. I made this in 2 days in grad school. It is ugly but I swear it’s fun and interesting!
FUN STUFF (that doesn’t move)
Illustrations, posters, practise tutorials etc.
I don’t usually do freelance work (visa restriction.) But my new visa let’s me, so I made this poster.
Podcast cover art for a podcast I made a few years ago.
I would like to be an illustrator, but it’s hard for me.
Practicing 3d modeling by making sushi.
